Ozark Hollows Habitat & Property Management provides practical habitat management, land improvement, and property services for rural landowners, hunting properties, homesteads, and acreage owners across Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas.
Overgrown acreage, tick habitat, mosquito breeding areas, invasive brush, poor access, neglected food plots, and drainage problems all tend to compound over time. Ozark Hollows helps landowners identify the root causes, prioritize practical improvements, and make their property safer, more useful, and more enjoyable.
Whether you’re managing a hunting property, running a homestead, or trying to get a neglected piece of land back under control, the work usually starts with understanding what’s driving the problems — and tackling them in the right order.
Every property is different. Some need drainage work before anything else makes sense. Some need brush cleared and access improved before the bigger jobs can even start. Some just need someone to walk the land, identify the problems in the right order, and start working through them.
You’ll work directly with the owner/operator from the first conversation through the finished job. Practical recommendations, honest communication, and work done right.
Tick habitat reduction, mosquito breeding area elimination, brush and invasive plant control, mowing and edge trimming. Improving the property starts with what’s growing on it and where water sits.
Limestone driveway repair and regrading. Drainage rerouting and culvert work. Access road and trail clearing. The fix starts with getting water moving the right direction before touching the surface.
Tilling and preparing food plot areas. Improving shooting lanes and access trails. Habitat assessment and improvement for deer, turkey, and small game. Stump removal and debris cleanup.
Brush hogging, roto-tilling, and mini-excavator work — trenching, stump removal, pad digs, and drainage. Mushroom dirt delivery (up to 3 yards) for gardens and raised beds. General grading and cleanup.
Not sure where to start? I can walk your property with you, identify problem areas, and help prioritize improvements based on your goals, budget, and season.
This is especially useful if you’ve recently acquired land, if problems keep coming back no matter what you do, or if you want a practical second opinion on what to tackle first.
Schedule a walkthroughFrom the first call through the finished job, you’re working directly with one person. No subcontractors, no crew you’ve never met. The owner/operator shows up with the right equipment when they said they would.
Based in Anderson, Missouri. Working across McDonald, Newton, Barry, and parts of Benton County, AR. Further for bigger jobs.
A lot of work around here gets priced and performed to benefit the contractor first — no line items in the quote, materials billed above what the yard charged, and a finished job that’s not quite what you asked for. In my view, that’s backward. I work for you, with courtesy and respect.
If the lumber yard charged $800, the invoice says $800. I don’t build a margin into materials. Every line item is what it cost at the counter — you’re welcome to verify it.
T&M gives you full visibility: every receipt, every hour, laid out as we go. A fixed quote locks the number before we start. Either way, you get an itemized estimate in writing before anyone picks up a tool.
I build what you asked for — not a simpler version that’s easier for me, not a layout I substituted because it suited me better. If something has to change mid-job, we talk before it happens.
Tell me what you need done and roughly where you are. Photos help a lot. I’ll ballpark it right on the call if I can.
For habitat work, land management, or anything bigger than a single task, I’ll come out, look at it with you, and give you a real plan and number in writing. No charge, no pressure.
We pick a date. I show up with the right equipment. I clean up after. Work done right by someone you can call back.
Fastest way is a phone call or text — I’ll usually answer, and if I can’t I’ll call back the same day. If you’d rather type it out, the form works too and it’ll land in my inbox.
